Why are you banning people instead of giving infractions first? You don't find any states giving criminals the death sentence for one murder... Constant murders/treason will result in the death penalty, not just one thing. So why aren't people getting infractions anymore? Why was my other thread closed which just just me pointing out the obvious from which all other threads like it get closed even though they don't break any forum rules? Sinbad said no bashing in this forum. I don't see any bashing. Nobody who posted in it bashed. I can see this thread right here getting closed for "bashing" even though I'm not. All this seemed to happen in a matter of days...That's not good. A site that goes down over a period of months is one thing, but within days is uncalled for and should really be looked at by the administration. If you haven't noticed, forums and sites don't down in flames because of its members. That can never happen that quick. A site/forum can only go down in a blaze if it's caused by the administration. We've said this countless of times as well. It would've been different if it was just a couple of people saying what's wrong with the site and people that just joined to troll, but you have people that have been here for a long time and love the site enough to tell you straight up what's wrong with it. And it's a lot of people. Listen to them. Listen to us. The least you could do is give a formal apology to everyone banned just for pointing out your faults and a specific one to Mr.GoodFrag for voicing his opinions in his sig nonetheless. that seemed to have ignited the fire.

Now could you answer those questions without posting a link to other threads, because doing that just makes it worse for yourself. If you decide to answer, just answer straightforward. No links, just words. We already have seen all the links we need. Because we have screenshots of people getting banned for voicing their opionions. So like I said, just answer with words.

Hell, several moderators quit in protest over the weekend for this very reason. (a bunch of users too if you look over @ PS3 Crunch/Ps3Hax)
I'm sure they'll replace them with childish 'copypastas' soon enough. When your staff starts fleeing, you know you're doing something wrong!

It's sad, because they are pushing away the very people that draw users to this site, which will inevitably kill it (or leave it full of newbs asking the same questions over and over with no one knowledgeable enough to help them).

I know it's now a 'bannable offense', but I'm saying it anyway - This place has gone downhill, fast.

I want to help people here that truly need the help, but I don't wanna support the site if they just keep going around banning people. If they ask their questions as PS3 C r u n c h, then I'll gladly answer it. I'm saying "I" because I don't want to bring anyone else into this thread that doesn't want to be in it from the site.

It's too late, the damage has been done. The "scener" admins, mods, and devs have mostly moved on to greener pastures.

Of all the people to get banned, Mr.GoodFrag. I really don't know what the hell happened to this website. It used to be awesome. All admins see is them saying the site is going downhill so they ban them and ignore it instead of facing it head on. Mr.GoodFrag gets banned and he's actually helped the scene, while BuffaloBill (don't know if he's banned yet) just spews bullsh*t all over this site and is literally nothing but a troll, he's fine though, as long as he doesn't bite the hand that feeds I guess. It's a shame your other thread got deleted from yesterday. Yet again instead of admins facing it head on they just push it out of the way like it doesn't exist. I really don't think there is much hope for this site.

I am going to have to side with the people on this one, because they are what made this site great for me. After seeing multiple people getting banned, including several of my friends, it is time for me to say something.

I have been holding down the front page now by myself for about a month, while the mods have been holding down the forums. The admins let us know that they are busy working on the "list" and other things; all the while, my INFAMOUS collections have been going downhill (missing updates!!!). Now it is true I am known for my collections, I have also been known as a news gatherer for several months, and even more so before the whole take-over.

Now here comes the trouble... with me taking care of the face of psx-scene, and the mods taking care of the rest, while the admins move stuff around and try to make quick fixes; users are complaining in open forum, when that should be done here, OFF-TOPIC, PM, etc. The truth is, this has been a problem here at the scene for awhile, with growing "inmature" user population, and more off-topic posting in the help forums.

Then more trouble!!! Now with PSX-SCENE being sold, and former admins/mods/members moving on, or whatever... there is alot of POWER PLAYS going on. Alot of us are smart enough to figure that power is better then money, because with power you can get money, etc, etc... but with money, there is no promise of power. A small rebelion if you would seems to occuring withen the sites, as well as outside the site and on to other forums.

I say the word small, because that is what is until you label it something else, like WAR.

Personally, I would like to see my friends back on PSX-SCENE, or atleast given appologies, and infractions instead of bans. And proof that our needs are being attended to. Perhaps let us see this list you are working on, so we can actually feel like we are helping too, and we still have a say.

I plan on staying on as a mod here as long as I can, and helping out the members of our forums, because I feel I owe it to xiaNaix, and to my friends!

But we need to work together, members and admins, and give everything time, and hopefully try to right all the wrongs that happen along the way. I want the psx-scene to be better then it was, now that we have officialy upgraded. I hope we can get this sorted out before everyone loses more friends, and what-not.

It is kind of funny because no one is being banned for speaking their mind. However anyone who personally attacks the site in general, the mods, admins, or members is another story. If you refer to the forum Rules/Faq you will see that this has been in effect since the original admins were running the show. We have not updated the forum rules since the transition took place. Check it out for yourself and I have also put the relevant text written by the original owners here as well.

- Do not attempt to bypass the forum censoring. If a word or URL has been censored here it is for a reason. Doing so may result in your account being banned.
- While this forum advocates free speech, we will not stand for users going to other forums and "bashing" this site or the developers who release their apps here. If you don't like us, that's fine, but don't expect to keep your membership here either.
- Multiple accounts are not permitted. We can check for this sort of thing. All of your duplicate accounts can and will be banned.
- If certain rules are temporarily put into action then respect them. They are for the good of the community and those who help maintain it.

Just to reiterate. The above rules were written and put in place by the original owners and not us.
