The Great Theme Debate

Hi Team,

With so many people around here upset about the forum colors, there's a couple avenues we're exploring:

1) ps2dragon: As you know, he has graciously volunteered to create for us a vb4.x theme that has a similar colorscheme to the 3.x version of PSX-Scene. We are awaiting his completed theme with anticipation.

2) In the interim, we have gathered a few themes (5 en total) and I've modified them with our links, logo, etc. We are going to be "turning on" the "enable members to choose a theme" option, so our members will be able to choose from the available themes to one that suits them. Right now all we have is a whole bunch of "i hate this", and not very much "Hey, this would look good".

The major thing here is that we want to make the users happy. Moving to vBulletin 4 was inevitable, whether we became involved with PSX or not. We're working our hardest to get something everyone would like.

The theme selector is now available on the bottom of the forums. A few of the themes were picked because they follow the same kind of basic color scheme as the old forum, while a couple just looked nice and we wanted to offer variety.

We would be grateful for any feedback.

It would be nice if it was that simple. Read the other thread: that template isn't compatible with vBulletin 4. They're trying to get it as close to it as possible. It's possible it won't be exactly the same, because it was a upgrade on the software. And if we lose members because of the upgrade, it shouldn't be much because not that many people are complaining saying "I'm leaving because of the changes," they're just saying how they feel it looks. Give it time.

Dude please just take the ban and cool off. If you keep evading the ban hammer, someone's gonna post all of your personal information, and then hack you. You may not like me, but just listen for once. (If that is you MACK.)

I've tried explaining that in the previous thread just like the admins. Some people just won't listen m8. The admins should show them the differences in the theme by taking one of the theme files from the new theme and the old theme and highlighting every single difference.

Yeah, Vision Collision would also be one of the ones I'd use. The blue contrasts with the white perfectly
