    Hello,

I would be happy to find in the site called "psx scene" a section of documentation and tutorials. Searching and find really *usefull* things are pretty inefficient in forums, although they have its value for many things. Particularly if there is no comsent to the time of the discussion. But some time after that, documentation and tutorials are the best, in my opinion.

XBOX's scene (xbox-scene.org) have great sections of things that are already well known, and donīt need to be asked over and over again in a forum. You go to the documentation/tutorial/software section of the site and it is there, all you just need. Information about (pretty much) anything you can do to XBOX and XBOX360. And also, the forums.

I think this website would be much more usefull if it had this sort of thing. The commuity, I am sure, would help making and keeping all of it.

    What do you think?

I would like something, like a wiki. ^^

A tutorial-section isnīt that a bad idea, but this Forum is splitted into several sub-forums and even some of them have sub-forums again, so I think a wiki is cool.

Everyone can contribute information and if it isnīt wrong, already explained or something, it goes online.

If someone can made up a short list of the best sticky's in the various forums which have the most recent up-to-date info or useful infomation, I can then start the ground work of a new wiki for this site.

Plans have been mentioned before for a wiki, and at least we got the basic most common ask/info/stuff for Freemcboot with the subdomain thanks to the hard effort of the members here.

But a more complete section, covering all the various useful need to know stuff for the ps1,ps2,ps3 would be nice.

I have a lot of projects already on my plate, but im sure i can help out with a wiki in the PS2 sections , once its been started.

I havent really gotten involved with other consoles, as the PS2 has been all ive had time to learn about, mainly software wise, not so much about hardware modifications.

A good start in the PS2 section might be the current projects, since FMCB, like Open USB Loader, GS Mode selector, etc. Then work "backwards" towards older apps that are still very useful, but arent recieving any new updates or changes.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

Another thing to consider would be a short introduction, or a list of the shortcuts and abreviations, we frequently use and what they mean.

This way, people learn (to use) the right terms/shortings and also understand them, when we use it.
