i find it pretty hard to navigate from the portal (news) page to the forums (index). I either have to click a news thread then click some other link to go to the forums. Or I have to type this. http://psx-scene.com/forums/
If I click the logo, which in many cases go to the forum but takes me back to the portal. Which is this http://psx-scene.com/forums/cmps_index.php. In my opinion it hard for me to go around here.

    My Specs: Ps2 V7 FMCB 1.7, uLE 4.30, USBA, ESR,PGEN,SNES STATION

    Programming Languages:C,C++,Batch

I usually use the "New Posts" link at the top.

I know its not well known to most people, but if you click on the next to PSX-Scene in the header, its linked to the main index of the forums.

    Sorry about this small problem.

The hardest of reaching the "forums" was added when I fixed the "Security Token Issue", this caused the custom Blackteal skin designed by our member "ps2dragon" to revert back to the default template, the end-result was the lost of the "Forums" button along the top navigation bar.

"ps2dragon" is going to be working on restoring this button soon. (You can blame me for the delay in causing this problem, because I haven't given ps2dragon full access to the "backup" server, all-tho he has premission on the live server, he wants to test changes on the backup site, first!)

In the meantime, you can access the forums easy from the portal page by clicking on the small "blue dot" just above the navigation bar.

That looks obscure. Thanks for the tip

I know I'm not the only one with this, it's not a big problem. It just takes me more time to find the forums. One in a while it annoys me just because it's work finding the forums

    Problem Solved.

See here for the official site mess maker news:

http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62317 (Messing With The Working Site!)

If you have any problems with the changes, or any more good suggestions to make it easier for our thousands of members to get more busy viewing threads and making tons of new posts, I am all ears and welcome to any ideas, good or bad.

Thanks for fixing this Gary, saved me the trouble lol. You're right, I was waiting on you to set me up with that backup server, but at the same time it's been hard to find time to work on little projects like this outside my regular life. Work has also been pressing on me to work harder, since we're short staffed and we suddenly have more work to do for some odd reason. By the time I get home I don't want to think about work, just relax and clear my head. The site still has some graphics missing, which I will try to fix at some point, but not a priority since it's not affecting site functionality ; D.
    Hardware: PS2 v7 (GH-022) NTSC | Crystal Chip 2.0 Pro SLE | Sony Network Adapter | 300GB Segate HDD
    Software: uLaunchELF 4.40 | HDLoader 0.8c | HDL_Dump 0.8.6+GUI | SMS 2.9 (Rev.3)
My Projects: uLaunchELF - skins/template | skin template readme | documentation (contributor)

Yep, the same here for me also, even with adding an extra staff to my tech repair team, I am still working 12 hours a day non-stop and afterwards I don't have the heart to work on things I want to, I just want to chill with non-technology like humans or read a book, thinking of adding a fireplace for this winter and just sit and watch some wood burning and cracking.

If I could dig up the old theme somehow again, I might try to fix those missing graphics for you. -- But it is not hurting the site in anyway so that is good.
