Here is a suggestion... I have not been on this scene for so long (7-8 months) but there are a few things I noticed very quickly that drive me crazy...
First off: this is a great place to get info and share but it is a pain to go through all the messages when people write millions of things that don't have anything to do with the original topic of the thread so here is my idea.

I have been modifying things for quite a while (Xbox, Ps2, Wii and now ps3)
And all the other scenes had one thing in common : there was a tutorial section and a download section in which NO one could write anything. There was only the tutorial that was kept up to date by the mods. Thus, we could find the info very quickly without reading over 200 pages of useless thoughts and people bashing each other.

I wish there would be A special section called tutorial or officially approved tutorial in which all there would be is the correct info. and then, next to it, another thread where people could ask their questions and do their moaning and Bitching.

Also, I saw those threads ( in which I participated ) Eboot, Original Eboot and so on... Once again you have to go through useless amount of info to find what you need. Yes I know there is a search function but still.

Why not create a thread that no one can write stuff to, except for uploading files. (something like a download section)

Some threads scare me because when I start reading I realise there are over 200-300 pages so I just give up.

Anyways .. this is just my 2 cents... and we could do the same for all the other backup manager and all the other files .. put them in a download section.

Anyways keep up the good work but right now It is a huge job to find reliable information on the scene thanks

We do understand the desire of people to want 'site monitored" tutorials, but the problem is that we are already short handed in just keeping out the "riff-raff", let alone maintaining the ever constantly changing apps and devlopment changes that are occuring daily.

Maybe once the PS3 scne has "stablized" with apps that works for everyone, we can then maybe do something like that. But in the meant time, its best to just let users posts guides and tutorials of whats working 'currently' and let them make changes to their tutorials when changes in development arise. We can monitor those with better efficiencey than to do them ourselves.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
