P.S. I did not drop working on PSGrade, please do not post that at the front page.
zAxis, this is great news! Thank you very much for your continued hard work and dedication. It's great to know you and graf are continuing the good work you're doing. We're all watching, very thankful, and cheering you on.
Great to have graf on PSX Scene too! Thanks you guys. +k +k

The rules should be left up to the devs and admins to figure out. Whatever devs feel will help them stay focused, accomplish more, and work better together.

Great to have you guys here, zAxis and graf_chokolo, and thanks for the effort. I have been checking on the front page of this site for while now and all I have to say is
This is a forum and by its very nature people should be allowed to post and ask questions...or else it wouldn't be a forum! I myself, however, advocate assigning "post count based" priveleges. (even though this is only my third post
)

Read access by registered members only with 50 or more posts. write access only by Devs and Mods only. Devs should have an application process reviewed and voted on by mods and other devs.

I'd be interested in reading said forum, I _might_ also be interesting in dropping a line or two. But most of the time I'm just lurking, since stuff that I'd add to the thread was already posted by someone else.
I was also about to suggest removing posting permissions for new users, because 90% of the users asking for "GT5 working" aren't here for very long. There was a similar amount of spam in the PSGrooPIC thread, where the same, already answered questions were asked over and over again.
On the other hand, sometimes there _are_ new users that have some valid points. However, I think if it's something ground-breaking, they can always PM a mod.

its not about new users or long time honored users. Everybody can give his 2 cents when itīs in latest news. The dev forum is for only one purpose: Progressupdates that can be 100% trusted.

+20!
This is exactly why we need a dev board. Another question, do anyone of you enjoy sifting through 20 pages of debates/arguments/trollbait, and Does GT5 work yet? Just to find that one status update. I know I don't. With a developer only board we could browse through there and check for updates quickly and then go to the news article to see the debates, arguments, trollbait and GT works threads.
EDIT: Also for the developers we could add a +rep function. That way they still know we enjoy their work without having 10 replies saying thanks dude, your awesome, Can I haz your baby. So it still stays coherent but the developers know they are doing a damn good job

Dunno if it's possible, but could make it so the dev that creates the thread allows or dissallows comments. That way, ones looking for bug reports could get them, those that don't want to deal with "PSN yet?!?" don't have to.
