It would be nice to be able to change threads Titles that people created themselves

If i understand you correctly, you want to edit the title of your threads?

This is currently a restriction that is imposed by the forum itself, but i'm sure it can be looked into. If this is what you are talking about, please reply confirming this and i'll get the coders to look into it

Yes that is what would be nice especially when people solve their problems

If you mean the ability to edit the thread title... you only have a certain period of time in which to do that. Afterwards, the title becomes set until a mod changes it. Did you need something changed?

No it just would be convenient for people to find solved problem and less hard on moderators if they could change it themselves unlimited

So maybe cut down on having to repeat a solution over and over again especially for the ones that don't search

but thanks to the locking usually a mod has to do it more work for you

It is locked at 24 hours for security reasons. You can always post a follow up thread saying it is solved.
