Whats up guys, its me Feierfox from PSG
when PSGroove was PSGroove, i felt very comfortable and had a ratio of like 5 posts a day
now since psg has turned into psx-scene i dont feel as comfortable as posting on psg. i think i only had like 3 posts on here
its just not the same as psgroove
of course psx-scene has more users/ is "bigger", more mods, etc but i cant say i feel good on here

    only me thinking like that?

not to say psx-scene is bad but its like youve been livin rural your whole life and suddenly your almost alone in a big city with thousands of people around you (in this case->) writing at the same time
    on psg there has been like 1 new post every hour;
a few noob questions, one or two people saying the scene is dead, when there were "member news" they have been frontpaged almost instantly, you find some friends, (almost) everyone is nice

everything just felt calm (not boring though)

but now if you are coming from psg you feel lost (in my oppinion)
hundreds of posts a day, your own threads are getting less views cause there are 10 people asking for a cfw and help for their non-working games, etc

although the design of the former psg just fitted, not to fancy but still modern

like i said, its like moving from rural to city life

Its definitely a big change no doubt. one great thing that should help ease the transition is that grandy is going to be posting news.

Change is always scary but give it some time and I'm sure you will become more comfortable in your new surroundings.

We are all a little "uncomfortable", but atleast we have you guys here. From what I understand, PSGroove was on vb4 awhile back (lost my password and could not get it back until a couple of weeks before the merger, so I do not remember much). We just switched about 3 weeks ago and it takes some getting used to. It is good to have you here, and I hope everyone gets along!

One of the best things 'out-of-it' (the merge) is one thing:

We can 'cut down' those questions a bit more, which are all related to the all-daily-threads and questions, like: 'Is there a CFW above 3.55?'...

The 'active mods' are quite a few more now.
    PS2 V7/DMS3 V2 (FW:2.4b7); Seagate Baracuda 200GB
    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB
    PS2 SCPH-30004R; NoMod+NoLaser

    3xSony BBA
    3xSony MC 8MB
    MAX/Datel 16MB with Boot-CD
    MAX/Datel 32MB&64MB

    Custom FMCB 1.8b+ Beta-Build, my AIO 0.5, Sony&xRhino-Linux

I couldn't have stated it any better than that!

'tis why I still call you feierfox when I reply to your posts.
That's how I came to know you and that is what I am used to.

I am still trying to wrap my head around how quickly PSG disappeared after the merge.

I always liked psx-scene before, but "the Groove" was home for me.
Kind of like the old tv show, Cheers........ "where everybody knows your name".
I would much rather go to my grave not needing my gun, than go there wishing I had it.
