I bought PSP and modded it with 6.35 PRO-B6. It's PSP-3004 (9th Generation). Problem lies here. I did a backup of my only UMD game, Little Big Planet as I don't really like to use UMD's. Well who does? But when I run the game and try to play on PSN. It asks me to update the game.

So, how I can update this game as it's in .iso format. I can't update it with normal method: press /\ and select update. Also I did read that you can update games which are on eboot.pbp file format. Is there a way to transfrom your game from iso to .pbp so I could update my game.

    PSP Game Updates

    PSP-PSN Game Updates

No where near as many updates for PSP games as for PS3. Most of them are for LittleBigPlanet.

Thats as many updates as I could find - thats searching the sony update server for each PSP/PSN title_id for each PSP/PSN in the database (PSP:2565 + PSN:409).

You could try using ISO2EBOOT, but I think that the old 928MB limitation is still present in the last version released.

I have not tried this before, but perhaps you could just use your UMD to download the update before running the game as you did before.

Somehow, I think that such a method might not work as the .ISO loaders of most (L)CFWs don't handle game updates.

But who knows, maybe it'll work...

@Dangwoot: The game update functionality was introduced recently (Or maybe not....) in one of the 6.xx firmwares.

I had only recently noticed that too - after upgrading to 6.38 ME from 5.50 GEN.

yeah i guess i haven't come across any games that needed updates yet as i'm running cfw6.39 me5

lol it's just kind of a shocker to me that they would have you download updates to your memory stick......then again it doesn't surprise me because if ya got bugs they need to be fixed ^_^
