I have a PSP2003 with OFW 6.60 and would like to know the best way to hack.

Firstly im only assuming the 2003 is good to go for the firmware flash but im not sure. do i need to check further into motherboard version?

I have a hacked 2001 already (CFW5.50 Prome-2) but couldnt make a pandora with that so i have opened a spare battery and cut the pcb to make a pandora.

I put the pandora batt in the 2003 and the green light comes on, im guessing thats confirmation that the pandorization is good?

I have read through (A NOOB's GUIDE TO INSTALLING 6.60 PRO- B9 Custom Firmware on PSP) but there is no mention of a pandora battery in that guide. Ive read a number of guides now and have gotten too much info to be sure what im doing.

following the above guide i have downloaded the files needed to do the temporary firmware (i havent done anything yet to the 2003) and notice in the downloads page there is 660PRO B10 fix1 what is this for? do i need it?

Will the pandora battery be safe to use with the PSP2003?

Do i even need the pandora battery?

Whats the best thing to do?

Thankyou for any answers you guys may have, i really appreciate it.

a couple more questions, things i cant find answers to...

Is there a way to update the PSP2001 CFW5.50 Prome-2 ? but thats not important, should i try to update?

    What is M33 ?

    What is CIPL ?

    What is CPL ?

    Thanks

    Hey there!

Let's get a few things out of the way - the last digit of your model is irrelevant, it's just the region number.
Also, you won't need a pandora battery anymore! M33 is an outdated firmware, you don't need it.

What you need is the 6.60PRO CFW. It is 100% working, spares your guarantee as it is software based and supports all games and homebrew. It is 100% safe to install it just run an app and you are good to go.

The only downside about 6.60PRO CFW is when the PSP restarts or crashes, you have to re-run the app again.

I thought the model was important, 2003 in this case. since ive read a 2004 cant be flashed i have assumed these numbers are revisions of the psp itself not just a region code.

Im not concerned with the guarantee, i want to make the hack permenant, will i need the pandora batt to make that happen?

Thanks, im hoping to have a permenant hack, so i want to flash the firmware so i dont need to re-run anything each time i reboot the psp.

Do i need the pandora to make the permenant hack?

Any advice on making the permenant hack is appreciated

    Thanks
