The pandora's battery, often called a "JigKick" battery, can be used alongside a magic memory stick, often called a "JigStick", to downgrade your PSP 1000/2000 series to OFW 1.50. from there, u can update to M33 firmwares to play your ripped isos from your memory stick and also run homebrews made by others

please note that without solder, it is impossible to revert a hardmod of a battery. Instead, you could find somone with a CFW psp and use the Team C+D tool.

    on with the tutorial!

    PSP PHAT

    1. use something plastic (i.e. guitar pick) to go along the seams of your battery. take extra caution while your near the connector pins.
    2. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ON THE EXPOSED CIRCUIT BOARD WITH ANYTHING METAL. THIS IS A LIVE CIRCUIT BOARD, PEOPLE. if u touch 2 pins simultaneously with a metal object, smoke will come out of it and possibly battery acid leaks and dangerous sparks.
    3. now, with an exact o knife, cut the following pin:

    tape your battery back together.

now, u can use either one of these along with a jigstick to install 1.50!!!

Last I seen, it's not possible to install 1.5 firmware on Slims UNLESS you use Time Machine. (Might be new ways now, I dunno.)

You can use your battery that is Pandorized as a normal battery. 2 ways:

1 - Use Booster's Multi-IPL Bootloader. In simple terms, it will have your PSP boot normally as if the battery was normal. You install the program on your memory stick and it's like a 22 kb file. I use it myself and works wonderfully. (I cut the pin.)

2 - WHILE you were or are cutting the pin on the battery's motherboard, instead of cutting the pin, cut the gold/copper line that is near the number "19" that is near the IC04 chip. Now get a pencil and simply color in the part you cut. What this does is have the electricity re-flow through the battery and act normal. (I didn't use this method but it works from what I seen.)

I used a thumbtack to cut the pin and it worked well.

these are all well and good but if you already know what these things are used for chances are you already know how to make them.
A usefull tut would be to assume people know nothing.

Ahh, I found it don't work at work because it's linked to one of the sites that's blocked on their websense blocker. At home I will flush the cache/reset the router and modem and see if that helps.
