Your first time..

..opening up your PS2 that is :D


how did it feel?were you nervous?messed anything up?I was sweating balls when I did it the first time like a week ago,i can tell members like GTZ or loy has no problem basing that on their clean ass modchip installs,how do y'all keep such a steady hand?lol



also what made you start modding ps2's?

i thought i knew enough to do my first install, and after the fourth dead ps2 i just sent my future ps2's to loy :D

I didn't quite know what to expect when I first opened it, but I was surprised at how much smaller the points were in real life compared to the blown up installation diagrams. To make matters worse, I was practicing on old video cards, which had MUCH larger chip legs and pads than the PS2. The first PS2 I modded was my V2 which took about two hours, but it worked. :D

thats what kills me are how close the legs are. but i did manage to get a lot of spare parts for future ps2 though.

First time I popped one they were worth over $600 CND so I was a little tense.

Now I strip?em apart like bacon.

I had just brought her into my bed room, sat her down next to me on my bed and began to remove her covers. I was nervous, this was my first time, hers aswell. I had to pay $300 just to get her to come to my place so I was anxious. I slowly and nervously touched her, being carefull of what to touch, I hadnt ever seen these parts before.... lol.

Yeah I was pretty scared, although I wasnt too worried, I had been modding PSXes and been soldering for some years by then. Although I did break my first PS2, but not the first time modding it.

I totally blew my equiptment the first time but the second time went ok its been a few years and now I can make her do whatever I want and I finish pretty quick sometimes I put stuff into her backdoor

i constantly open my ps2 up to clean it. I
just went thru our 2 year aniverseryand i wanna try something new. Like modding that bitch. Noe Mod 2 sux the ass. Some one give me a deal for a mod chip quick.
