A question that has been asking many times....
Are you religious or loyal to your religion or are you not?
I, myself, go to the mosque for just about every prayer I can make it to, whilst I don't really act religious, I will consider myself so.

You know i should also go to my local mosque but i keep on forgetting about it. I should also read the Quran but havent found the time to do that either. Dang im going to hell for sure.
Arrrrrrrrrr, I myself am Wiccan....and "religious" is a very vague word if'n ya asks me. I mean, we all gots our faith...and I respect any man that is devout to his/her faith, so I do. This 'ere salty dog says that if'n ye just live life to the fullest, enjoy every day to completness, and harm none...then yer doin' a fine job in this life, so ye are!
Roman Catholic.......i go to church every week but I'm not really that religious...
Church has nothing to do with beeing religouis. You have people who giver a shit about morality and faith in god who go to church, while you have deeply faithful and religuos people whove never been to church in their lives.
I am very religous internaly. I beleive in God, jesus ect. I think people get faith in God mixed up with religion way too much. Beliving in a God doesnt mean you have to beleive in the bible or anything. And as far as religions, there is only one god, and all religions are beneath him. Going to a church every sunday does not some how make you a faithful person. I think most people who go to church are somewhat religous, but not alot, thinking by going to church they are saving their soulds from damnation. But its like, who do you think you are fooling, god cannot be fooled. I think the most important part of beeing religous is having the sense of a higher power that you must be responsible to. It keeps peoples morals in check. ANd when people dont have someone to be responsible to, other than themselves, bad things can happen. I hate people who use religion to justify actions such as murders, like what terrorists do. Or also people who say they deserve to be forgiven because the bible says to forgive. I saw on TV where a murdere said with a smile that he shopuld be forgiven, note this guy takes no responisiblity for his actions, and laughs about them. And when asked why he should be forgiven, he says "the bible says so, dont you beleive in that stuff"?. Yes you should be forgiven, but NO person should ever be forgiven untill they themselves take full responsibilty for something. In that case send them to the chair and let god do the forgiving.
Religion is a great thing, but ignorant people can twist it and use it to serve their needs, tossing aside what the religion beleives in. I respect catholicism. But i think it is rediculous to need a church heirchy. Everything the Catholic church does is the same thing that caused Jesus to go against the Jewish Temple. The extravagant buildings, the worshiping of Idols, sexual abuse of children. The church is not a religous organization, it is a political organization that instead of using nationality as its unifieing force, it exploits peoples faith in God as their source of power. The reason is when Christianity came to Rome, and it was adopted, they used their same Pegan ways and just changed it to God and Jesus, but really is compltelty what Jesus would nto have wanted. But that is agaisnt the church, not its faithful followers.
I dont think there is a way one can denei that this is some sort of higher force. Whether it a consious God or some strange force far away. The universe exists, that to me far exceeds the amount of proof needed to beleive in a higher power.
necro, i never said i was religious because i went to church. in fact i said the opposite which right now supports your statement.
Sorry if it sounded like I was aiming an attack at you, wasnt what I was trying to do.
looks like i misunderstood...sorry
I myself can't get to the mosque everyday, but I try to read the Qurun when I can. By the way my neiborhood has the most Muslims in the U.S.
