well i think it looks kool, but what can it do?
ha if you read the stuff they guy did he says the box isnt even a good entry level computer, you can get a better pc at like Wal-Mart for the same price that you would end up spending on all the parts.
Yeah, I agree that its not a very good computer. I'll tell a story in a sec, I think you'll all enjoy it a little.
Maybe if you bought three like he did it would be more than a Wal Mart computer, but if you bought one and a monitor and VGA adapter and got a modchip and installed linux, then I don't think it would cost as much as a wal mart computer.
My friend has an uncle that is on the XBox development team, he has the coolest XBox stuff, not that I'm an XBox fanatic. He had an XBox before they were even released, his uncle got him one. And then, their computer's motherboard got friend, so what did his uncle do? He sent him a computer that ran on an XBox motherboard, ran Windows XP or Me, can't remember which, don't ask me how he hooked it up and got it to run cuz I'll never know, its his uncle and he was on the XBox team. We opened it up and verified it IS an XBox motherboard. It's cool, you turn on the computer and it shows the XBox logo, then it starts booting Windows. At the time the 733 mhZ processor wasn't as slow compared to computers now, the memory sucked a bit and took a while to boot programs, but MAN the computer games were awesome running on it, as nice as a Geforce4 Ti in my opinion. Pretty cool, just thought I'd share that one.
wow that sounds crazy, no PCI perhipheals though right?
can we get a picture of this setup...Originally posted by trumpetguyscw

"total cost of the unit with keyboard, mouse, and parts came to 383.72 dollars" now this is just 1 box, an emachine would be the same price and be alot faster (may not play games as well)
