you mean the XBOX price droped since the ps2 is selling so good right?
yeah i guess why would they lower it other wise. Inless they couldnt sell very many Xboxes for a while![]()
Will they also talking about putting Halo in the package to make the xbox sell better but that is just a rumor right now......

In Europe they put 2-3 games in the pack (Halo, Midtown Madness 3, TopSpin, Rayman, Project Gotham 1 and so on...) and sell the SeXbox for 199 euro. I wish they did not put anything and did sell it for 150 euro...

Halo is a pretty good game, too bad you can only hook up 4 xbox system together in a LAN game.
150 US Dollars = 126.265 Euros
SKS: that's clear but where could you get an Xbox in Europe for that price ? As it was discussed several times, as Sony, MS also has its own marketing policy in Europe and all over the world, and well, to be honest European people pay a lot more for a bundle that contains let's be honest some 2-year-old games... No matter how cool Halo is, I rather would like to see a machine without these silly packs at the 150 USD price and IF I wanted to buy Halo, I'd go and buy it separately, not as a forced deal, especially when I already had Halo almost 2 years ago... So all in all, just paying 50 euro plus, as for 2 extra (old + totally unnecessary) games, is something that I don't understand why the EU is not claiming for... Playing a hard game with MS looks like ends up in a fine because of their operating system, but their console prices also would be worth a hard investigation...
As someone noted in another topic how bad it is to be an European because of Resident Evil: Outbreak won't go online in Europe, well guys and how bad it is to be an European to pay a lot MORE than anyone else in the whole wide world...

The problem is if Sony doesn't drop there prices a lot of people will buy a Xbox. Alot of people choose a Xbox or PS2 and their decision will most likely be made becuase Microsoft price is cheaper.

My guess is that with the impending release of PS3 in the next couple of years, it would be next to impossible for Microsoft to catch up to the PS2 in terms of sales, which is why Sony isn't too concerned with it at the moment.
