X/O button swap / Button Mapping?

sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to post. i am new to these forums.

I know this is a bit selfish, seeing as how we just opened the ps3 cfw era, but is there any chance someone might make ps3 buttonmapping like what the PSP has?

I swapped my X/O buttons on my psp in relation to jpn mapping, which makes sense that O is accept and X is cancel. i did this mainly because i first found out about this US button swap enigma when i played Kingdom Hearts in a previous life time, and thought it was weird that O is jump button instead of X.

that's my story as to "why". so... does anyone know if it could be some time soon? if not, can someone point me in the right direction to making my own? i know nothing of how the ps3's programming works, it's a whole 'nother language to me..
