Worth 800$?

I found a kick ass deal from a freind which included a professionally hooked up ASUS A7M266-D with (2) 2400+ Athlon MP (not XP) and 2 SK8s all copper HSFs with Arctic Silver 3 and a Firwire card and a 5.1 sound card and a Ethernet card and USB2 card all configured and hooked up by a workstation professional and with all assembly included, is this a good deal, Thanks for the help!

Are you serious? this is an awesome deal is this for real, these are MP's not XPs right? As long as these are not XPs this is an incredible deal, could you hook me up with your freind I need some components. Are you sure the guy who configured it did a good job or was he just spinning it off?

Yes, definitly on a Pro system if it is configured correctly it can boost amazing performance, especially with apps that optimize it (workstation apps). I worked with alot of systems and have seen such configs mainly in the workstation/server market at much higher prices.

That is an awesome deal. I really wanted the Asus dual Athlon board, but that and the processors would've gotten real expensive. The board is around 175, and the processors are around 130-150 ea, so adding that up, you are getting a very good deal.
