I need to up my post count to 30 before I can post replies to threads. it comes up with an errror saying I can't post links, but it happens when I post replies without links.

Make sure there's a space after every full stop

Yes. If you put spaces after any periods and also add a space after any @ symbols as the system is seeing it as a link.
