question, im from the philippines who will be going to the US (chicago) this coming march, will the airport people be strict about my PS2 unit with a modchip plus HD? do they actually care about it like pirated-dvds or not really?
Seems to me like a huge oversight. In a laptop or console it would be soooo extremely easy to hide a blade, if you built it into the chassis and had it masked from the xray by other metal objects obstructing its shape. And if you really were determined im sure you could hide a gun without much difficulty.
thats the last thing you need to do is give people ideas on hiding weapons. as for modded console i don't think they care as my cousin brought his modded ps2 over, but as for pirated dvds i am not sure on that
you should be fine. i brought my ps2 and flat panel monitor as a carry on. they didnt care one bit
they don't usually check and question tourist for bringing consoles right?
no and if they do just say that your visiting your cousins and have never played a video game b4
i don't think they'd question you over having a video game system.
if they're gonna check your xbox if it's chipped they might as well check if you bought all the music on your ipod or if your tags are still on your mattress.
Ok, so I took a PS2 as a carry on before, they were a wee bit nervious about the whole deal but I took it on with no real problems...
just dont have to many lcd lights and a swetty hand you should be fine.
