wii or proyect cafe???

So I was thinking of buying a Wii, but since the rumors of a new nintendo console (cafe) I thought of getting opinions of people to make my decision

There is absolutely no way anyone could answer this until more information is known. Project Cafe will be detailed at E3, so just wait until then =)

I understand but taking into consideration that the wii has the posibility of running homebrew and the cafe console maybe coming with some hard security i thought maybe some opinion

but i gues i will wait

Wii are (at least in my neck of the Woods), dirt cheap now and there are thousands of games available for it. Wii's are also easy to mod (without the current OFW bull***t of PS3s to worry about), and there's plenty of interesting homebrew available.

If you have kids and if you like quality games without necessarily having the latest and greatest graphics, I'd definitely get one.

Whatever Project Cafe turns out to be, it won't be available until at least the end of this year and after it's released, I have a feeling that the Wii will carry on (much like the PS2 did concurrently with the PS3), for a while after that.

'Project Café' will include backwards compatibility with both the Wii and GameCube games? pain to have to wait E3!!!

its not even a descision the project cafe wont see the ligh of day for 2 years and the wii is dirt cheap,im sure you have no problem getting 1 for under 100$ U.S.
so why not just but a wii now then worry about cafe when it comes out
if it is hacked it wont be right away most likely not for a year at least im sure
if at all
look at 3ds ,still not hacked and no body even knows the specs of the thing yet ,and yet it has been out for over 4 months
not saying it should be hacked by now ,but the fact we dont even have accurate specs is more than a little disconcerting
