who still plays Final Fantasy? for ps1

wus up, im jus wondering who still plays the final fantasy series on ps1, if u still play list which one, well im currently playin Final Fantasy 8.

ff8 was pretty good. i never got a chance to beat the side quest boss in the castle. the one who used the meteor attack. he always wipe me out and i had haste on everyone. i also like ff9 that was pretty good too.

Anymore I just despise RPG's to much. Not because I don't love em, but just don't have the time to sit there and play them. It's gotten so bad that occasionally I just cheat to find out the story. Which that's the only reason anyone plays RPG games anyways...There all pretty much repetive, same strategy, etc. The story is the only thing that keeps em alive, and not the battle system usually.
I didn't beat any of the ps1 games, but I did beat FFX without cheating, and FFX-2 was a bit boring, and loooong IMO so I did end up cheating sometime within the game, and I didn't bother going for 100% or anything (maybe got 50 I think).
Beat LOTR: 3rd Age the other day without cheating (took 22 hours), but until like Kingdom Hearts 2, or an RPG that I must play think I'm done.

FF7 ... nuff said ... I've beaten the game 3x in the past and I'm not bandwagoning when I say I feel its the best RPG I've ever had the pleasure of playing. I remember getting all my friends into it when it first came out and they were hooked from that point on. I gotta say I think FF9 was a huge dissappointment and 8, well, I didn't like the whole drawing of magic, but it was pretty good otherwise. Sometimes I wish I could get hypnotized into forgetting everything about FF7 so it would be brand new to me, lol. I probably only play it an hour or so a week (after taking a few years off it) hoping that I'll forget certain things and they'll feel new all over again.

i never tryed ff7. i think i will play it, but ff8 and ff9 were two great games to me the story line was very good.

xenogears was great. i thought they were coming out with part 2, but they made xenosaga for the ps2.

I played about 5hrs into xenogears and got bored, I dunno what it was but I just couldn't get into it. Many of my friends loved it tho so I guess it just wasn't my type of game
