when do you think the next gen consoles will come out?

Microsoft:

Probablly not for a little while longer anyway. The kinect certainly is not going to last them another 5 years. But perhaps another year to a year and a half.


Nintendo:

I smell it coming soon. Give or take it gets announced it's in early development this E3.


Sony:

If they weren't busy waisting money on a dying system they could be paying attention to actually making a new console. I suspect the PS4 to be out in about two years or so. Maybe earlier if the other companies decide to pump out consoles faster.



The verdict: Hopefully Microsoft won't rush there next console like they did with the 360,Nintendo will actually add a HDD to there system with better graphics instead of going cheap. And sony will stop sueing everyone.

If Microsoft pushes out a new system within the next 1 1/2 years.......you KNOW Sony will do everything they can to pump one out close to the same time.

Hopefully, by that time they will most likely be sueing the internet though/

My Opinion: The Ps4 will not be released soon at all since it has the features of the upcoming gens, think about it, each time sony releases a new PS a new method of discs is released (CD-DVD-BDVD) no new disc type is released now which means there is no ps coming, another sign is: BDVD holds up to 60GBs well the BIGGEST ps3 game is 40GB ONLY + its not graphics rich its just movie rich. The ps3 has features of the upcoming gens (3D Games) In where i live there are not much 3D tv's release and i dnt hav 1 !!! so how will i be able to buy a new ps if i ddnt use the features of the old 1 HAHAHAHAAH.

However if there was a ps4 to be released soon id say they'd only change the method of playing, like instead of playing on a tv it might be something u wear in ur eyes and play portably :D

that be cool. either way I hope the NGP does not suck.

That is either a nice copy and paste or a very well thought out post that does make a lot of sense. :)

Never been one to want to stick something in my eyes (never had the need for contacts), so I'm not sure how I would do with something like that. :(

However.........I have been considering getting a pair of i-glasses 920HR just for the entertainment value of them. virtual image of 80 inch screen at 5 feet away.

I have been watching the head mounted display scene for a few years (off and on) and am amazed at the progress it has made.

Just not sure about the image quality of the composite video though.

If they come up with one that will connect the really small HDMI.........I'll be one of the first to order it!

wow, have u guys even noticed? i have my ps3 from december 2006....and now its march 2011, GOD! how fast time flies....this is kinda freaking me out here xD

I had my slim for like 7 months but sold it due to being dumb and updating. bought a 40 gig fatty. have had it for 3 days now.

The Wii will most likely be out in 2012 Holidays. The Xbox will follow in 2013 with the PS3 right behind it in 2014.

Who cares 2012 is end of the world.
