What's up with low-balling lately?

Before, on places like Ebay you could actually sell stuff, and people give you good offers...Now, you can't even make any $ off ebay...Sell stuff on here, and you usually never get any offers (no matter what price you got it at), sell things on BST, and it seems that's theres more people selling stuff than there is actually purchasing stuff.
Is it because the economy is shit, and people don't have $ to offer, or what is the reason?

maybe people just arn't interested or have a need for anything most people are selling.

find some absolutly usless crap and odds are some idiot will pay more for it than it's worth.

maybe its because people are realizing that they don't need to buy anymore garbage...........
I mean, the most fun I ever had was last summer when the east cost was out of power. People were out and talking to each other, and having fun. And it cost $0.
.............well not if you count all the money the Canada and the US lost, but other then that.

Canada/UK: Buy nothing day, November 29
US: Buy nothing day, November 28

it's all about the $ IMO, if I had the money I would buy everything up

I just planned our future PC/entertainment center upgrades last night...it's the two year plan
