what is sticky

I keep seeing people say they have posted in the sticky where is it? I do not see anything like that on the page please help.

Sticky: CLICKING LASER [UPDATE 01-JAN-03]

That is a sticky post. It is called a sticky post because it will always "stick" to the top of the list of posts regardless of how many posts are made.

it always says "Sticky:" before it. And always at the top of the thread view. Only very important/useful topics are stickied. How could ya miss em?
