3.56+ = 99,9999999%
ok,
i think it's not impossible, but very very very unlikely (to get a 3.55 or lower)
but i dont know bestbuy so it may be ~5-10%
better just look @ ebay or craiglist and search for 3.55 - i got one used for 70€+ shipping (~100$)
Thats not true,
replacement PS3 come usually with 3.30 - 3.50 ! dont know for new ones but got one with 3.50 that broke down immediately, and got replaced for one with 3.30 (120gb slims both).
My mate a week ago bought a new ps3 from jb hi fi ....i dont remember what firmware it came with but it was 100% below 3.55 and he is now running a cfw...
well what date did firmware 3.56 come out if the ps3 was manufactured b4 then it will be 3.55 or lower i doubt there is a lot of ps3's sitting on the shelf manufactured after 3.56 came out
most now come with 3.55 but till the stock get over it will be 3.55..... go look at old stocks...
Just look at the model # on the bottom of the box.
160gb slim - cech-2501a made in dec 2010
320gb slim -cech-2501b made in dec 2010
both are below 3.55 ask the nerd patrol guy, he'll tell you.
I bought one last month.
I bought a ps3 slim roughly a week and a half ago from bestbuy and it came with 3.41
I bought one from Fry's Electronics in California came with 3.50 2 1/2 months ago it came with 3.50. The code on the box said it was CECH-2501A Hope it helps!
