I need to choose between a 2004 4 Door Honda Civic EX, or a Toyota Corolla Sport (without alloy wheels and spoiler, ill add them myself)
They both are almost the same technically. Honda= 115 Horses, Toyota= 125 Horses. On paper they are almost the same exact size, although I swear the Toyota looks bigger. Im 6' 2" so leg room is a must, on paper the honda has an inch more leg room, but when i get inside, it seems as if the toyota has more, possible its all in my head, who knows. The honda on paper, has 1 cu ft more interior space. They both have the same exact Gas Mileage. 29 in the City and 38 on Highway. The emissions on the Honda are abit better, but thats mother natures issue not mine, hah. The problem I have with Honda, is that it seems smaller, even though I geuss its really not. Also they are a dime a dozen on the road, I would imagine in a parking lot it would be hard to figure out what one is mine since there are so many of them. The Toyota also has a problem, my brothers wife drives one, which could cause confusion and also not as neat to have the same care. Ironicaly her mom and grandma drive them aswell. I do like the interior of the Toyota slightly better, it is abit nicer and more finished, but both are still nice. One problem is the Honda I can take stock, I think it looks fine, then Ill slowly pimp it out. The corolla, I really dont like how it looks with out new wheels and the spoiler, and if it takes time to change them, I may be disapointed for a while. Also the Honda Dealer has about a million Civics on hand of every color, itl be easier to try to get a bargain to take one off their hands as well as getting a color I like. Where as the Toyota dealer only has a few of what im looking for, so color choices and bargaining may be less.
Let me know what you guys think, commentary welcome. Dont recomend another car. Ive already looked into Proteges, Lancers, Sentra, Elantras, and the rest. Its really got to be one of these two.
