What about the Playstation 4? Are you ready?

Personally I have been ready for the playstation 4 but it appears with recent reporting that the console may be put off for a couple of more years and I wanted to ask other playstation gamers what they thought of this... are you even ready for the next generation of consoles? when do you think the consoles will finally be announced?
The article that got me wondering is the one i quote below...
"Going by the latest reports on the same, company officials at Sony have said that they will stick around with PlayStation 3 for more game titles to release in the next 2-3 years."

Please let me know what you think my ps3 is broken and i was considering just waiting for the next console... but i dont know about waiting for a few years

Most likely I will rebuy a CFW Ps3 rather than buy a Ps4

There have been several rumors about ps4, perhaps in 2015 we'll see a ps4

I've been ready for the 8th generation(PS4, Xbox720) for a coulpe of years now. I was expecting a five year cycle. Hopefully we will see something next year. Until then I'll just have to geek out on the Wii U (I love all consoles).

I wouldn't put much stock in rumors and unsourced news on this. Though, it makes me wonder. There aren't that many triple a games coming-out this fall/Christmas. Maybe lots of resources are being used to develop next en titles for next year?

Hopefully the PS4 will be more than the PS2 than PS3

Only considering the games that I have bought for all of my consoles.................
I probably have enough titles on my shelves to last me another 5 years or so.

Plenty more games are available that I haven't purchased yet.

I could probably easily stay busy with the consoles I have for another 10 years.
Hell, I still have games for the original Xbox that I haven't played yet.

Once a few really good exclusive titles hit the shelves then I will start deciding if/when I want to break down and buy another console.
