Weird ASS people always on top!

What is it exactly about this world....That puts sooo many idiots at the top of the ladder of EVERYTHING! The Supervisor of my department (freight) is gay. Now, considering I work in a clothing store that isn't so unexpected, but it's back in FREIGHT. That isn't my problem with him (he's married to another guy), but my problem is he's plan out ****in' weird, one of the biggest worriers you've ever seen, and just plain dumb.
He has 2 master degrees, but I sware...He has no common sense. So, I started thinking about it, and almost everywhere you go, or everyone you see these days in a high ranked place is a MORON.
There's of course lots more people these days, and of course your going to have a lot more bad apples than good ones, but don't understand how these people can go through so much schooling, and not be able to speak properly, or even think logically it seems.

I live in W.V.....Suppose to be a state commonly known for dumbasses, but I seriously think I could bang my head off a brick wall, and still have more sense than these higher up people.

These days, having a degree usually means you've had a ton of formal schooling in exchange for a huge lack of experience. It's one of the biggest problems with society today; we put more faith on what a piece of paper says about person rather than taking the time and effort to thoroughly examine him or her. The SATs, cert testing, immigration, resumes, you name it. Back then you had to work your way up from the bottom of the ladder and now all you have to do is pass 4 years of formal education and you get a piece of paper that'll get you jobs that you have no earthly business filling.

I'm not saying degrees are useless, but they're only as good as the person that holds them; which kinda defeats their purpose of identifying the holder as a competent prospect for employment.

Unfortunately, I've found that stupid people get promoted because the company can't afford to promote the smart ones - they need them smart ones to remain where they are at so that they can actually get the work done. Then once you have stupid people in management, they are intimidated by the really intelligent subordinates. Thus only the stupid subordinates are given rewarding opportunities.

I'm practicing to be stupid as we speak (i.e. going to college to get yet another degree - in business management!)

Man...Speaking of stupid people that irk me! Has anybody seen Micheal Brown's comments? At least I don't think anybody defends him so I can bash him without anybody speaking back. Some people make me so sick!
He stated that he did such a good job, BLAH BLAH. Put the blame on everybody else, etc. This idiot didn't even know people were in the astro dome until 3 days later they talked to him on the news! This moron isn't fit to run a preschool!
I think it's going to be my new goal to find a few people who seem dumb, and lifeless, and get to know these people. God apparently must have forgot to give some people a brain, and I'll study to see if I'm right.
