can any of you think of any arcade games that require the second player to only put thier coins in the second player coin slot in order for them to play?

almost every game I can think of it doesn't matter what slot you put the coin in just as long as you push the right start button.

I'm thinking the newer 4 player Guantlet it mattered but even on that one I'm not sure.

there's a lot of older arcade games that it mattered in. just cant think of any titles.

edit: i think the old terminator 2 shooter game might have. smash tv im pretty sure did too. and i know the 6 player xmen game did, which sucked because you would get stuck playing as a character you didnt like since there was no character select. and from the time i insisted on beating that gunblade game(you had a machinegun from up in a helicopter, im pretty sure that didnt share credits either.

    like i said, there's a bunch.

okay, how about games that are only 2 players and of the button and stick type? i.e. not light gun, steering wheel, or other special controller.

just a regular joystick huh? well, smashtv didnt really have a special controller, but it was 2 joysticks per player.

you just gotta make shit complicated, dont you :P

im not sure about the neogeo... altho i dont remember ever sharing credits while playing any metal slug games.

soul edge MIGHT have not shared credits. i'm pretty sure it didnt. same for virtua fighter, tekken, and street fighter 2.

there was a whole shitload of horizonal and vertical scrolling shooters i played at an auction recently(well, more like 7 or 8 months ago) that i know didnt share credits. and they were all circa 1995 or older. cant remember any names tho.

there was a sonic the hedgehog fighting game(dont remember the name, but there cant be that many sonic fighting games) that i know didnt share credits.

It was mostly games that had custom controller boards e.g. Smash TV, Pitfighter (original 3 joy version), Operation Wolf etc.
Gauntlet was also one of these as I remember many times where i was on stage 600 and put my coins in the wrong slot and ended up being the wizard or some character that sucked. Yes, I was one of those people who thought this game had an ending but after a full day playing someone told me it didn't

fantasic 4 i think thats the name with spiderman, hawkeye, captain america, and ironman.
I thought saving 15% on my car insurance was good but having my ps2 modded by N£TM£ÇH was way better!

There was no arcade game that featured Spiderman, Hawkeye, Captain American, and Iron Man. There was a game called "Spider Man" which had Spiderman, Black Cat, Hawkeye, and Namor. There was also a game called "Captain America and the Avengers" which had Captain America, Iron Man, and two other people that I can't remember. Both games only supported two players, but "Spiderman" used the System 32 hardware and I don't believe that required coins to be inserted in a specific slot.

vision and hawkeye were the other 2 characters in the avengers game.(hawkeye was an avenger, though i dont remember hawkeye ever having anything to do with spiderman for him to have appeared in that game too. i guess they just threw him in)
