This poll needs to be amended. The thing I hate is I dont like either of these sides.

On one hand, I hate saddam, he doesnt deserve to be in power and he should be taken out. It is better for Iraq and the world for him to be gone. But on the other side I dont think it is in our immediate best interest to have this war, we have bigger problems. Also the people that say that Saddam and Bin Laden are linked are rediculous and know nothing about how these cultures work. Saddam is a socialist military dictator, while Bin laden is a Muslim Extremist, the 2 hate the shit out of one another, and Bin laden even wanted to take his troops into Iraq when it invaided Kuwait in 1990. Because they have common enemies (us) does not link them at all. But ofcourse Saddam has been linked to such groups as Hezbulah and Hamas. I dont think war is the best thing and I dont think this should have been a UN or a political thing at all. The fact is that Saddam himself signed a treaty saying he could not have these weapons, the day that they stopped letting inspectors in is the day we should have said, let us in now or fight . And if they said no, we fight. Just like if you go rob a bank, after you commit the crime, they dont go to the govenor or the president and congress to make new laws for you, they use the existing laws that u broke, then arrest u and bring u to justice. Same thing here, the law is already made on what hes alloud to do, this should just be an enforcement issue, the day they broke the LAW, is the same day they should be forced to comply, but why this mickey mousing shit with the UN, and bush and world leaders, its unnesisary. Also I think if we do go in, it was wrong to bring it to the UN. The UN is just a way for the now less powerfull Europeans to govern the US' policy, and yet when European countries decide to go into another nation, they seldom bring it to the UN, such the case with france in vietnam, actually going against what we told them.

I dont think the war is the best thing we could do, but on the other hand, I sure as hell dont want to be grouped on the sides of the hippie ****ers, germans, french, russians, I see them all as hipocritical backstabbers. We help them they do what they want, and get us to do things for them, yet all they can do is badmouth us.

And people who say this is for Oil, tahts obserd. Iraq would more than love to sell us Oil, as they depend on it just as we do for our survival. But we have an embargo on them, all wed have to do is stop that, and plus, the war could cost $100 Billion , if it were really about oil, we could just give them that money, get the oil, and we would be much better off. Also the Idea that Bush and his crew are these Oil hungry barbarians is obserd. Yes, the US Govt wants and demands oil, but tell me why? Its not as if Bushy Boy has a pool in the back where he keeps his Oil collection. He wants it, because the American people, and the people of the world demand it. Human Society is based upon oil, without it we crumble. Electricity, Plasitics, Gasoline, Medicine, Argirculture, Transports of goods, and soo much more is all from Oil, witout it we are nothing. The problem is not the Govts need for Oil, it is all of us, and our over consumtion of this very valuable and deisapearing reasource.

My brother leaves Friday to Kuwait, and if they send him accross the damn world for the next 6 to 12 months for nothing, with nothing acomplished, Im going to be ****ing pissed off.

If I were Bush, I woul not have gotten into this predicament, I would do something to Iraq, but not what we have planned. But at this point where we are, with 300,000 troops in the middle east, in the largest military build up in many years, it would do more damage to the US than good to not go in, as it shows that we stomp our feet and try to tell a country what to do, and use threats, but if we step down without achieving our goal, it shows every nation in the world that we are cowardly and will step down if they put us off long enough.

The United States is the Only super power, we have powers and responsailities that other nations do not have, and we should not allow nations like France and Germany dictate our Politics ever.

Its too bad this is what is haoppening, but at this point, regretably, I feel we have nothing to do other than a full invasion of Iraq. And in the end, the People of Iraq will benefit the most of anyone.

The Idea that we are attacked for what we do to other nations is obserd. The reason Bin Laden and his cronies attacked is not for going into Iraq or anything like that, as I stated before, he wanted to go in to fight Iraq himself! The reason for the Muslim worlds hatred of The United States is for its support of Isreal, a nation under constant attack by these cowardly ****s that attack and murder innocent people in busses and eating dinner in the name of God. They see us as infedels, and are irrational people, and are out for our destruction and the destruction of Isreal. We have the power, they do not, that is why we use it. We see wrong in the world we try to fix it. We do sometimes stupidly get suckered into things or leave before its over, but these reasons for the hatred of us is just a mask over the true reason.

Saddam had nothing to do with Sept 11th, he is probably pleased with it and glad it happened, but he had nothing to do with it, and thats fact. Also I dont beleive if we go in we are preventing another September 11th, as he hates Al Quida for reasons other than this. Also, September 11th was terrible, but when u look at what Isreal has to put up with on a weekly bases, it is nothing. And those people are ones that Saddam does support. When Isreal got hit by 48 Skuds in 1991, the US held Isreal back from striking back, even though they had the complete right to do so. And if this happends again, I doubt we could hold them back.

Yes, Im not for it, but nor am I against it. Theres reasonaning on both sides that are legit.
