well im in Pittsburgh, PA, about 6-8 hours driving from NYC, and the media likes to hype that shit alot, although there are some stupid people buying into the hype and walking home with rolls and rolls of duct tape.

hey you say he was arrested witrh hand gernades strapped to him as its a bad thing? i think anyone with hand gernades strapped to him getting arrested wouldent be out of the norm .

just dont try to strap handgernades to your self and get on a plane, and youll be fine.

as for washington dc, theres a few Surface to Air Missle vehicles around the city, the only thing new york has are fighter jet patrols in the sky (i think).

but you should have a fun trip, just remember not to get drunk and pass out in the subway

    have fun

I almost fell off the sofa last night when I saw people buying duct tape and plastic sheeting in droves yesterday!! What exactly is it they are preparing for??
My question is, if it's a chemical or dirty bomb let go on a city, just how is duct tape and plastic sheeting going to protect you??
    Please excuse my ignorance..

Even funnier was the people buying gas masks that even had a sign above them that said it won't neccessarily provide protection from many chemicals!!
This must be what is what like back in the red scare days...
"The russians are coming" better buy some duct tape and plastic sheeting!

well these people think they can seal off their homes with duct tape and plastic wrap, my question is, if theres radiation or any other chemical in the air, and they seal their homes off from the air outside, wont that present a problem once they breathe for a while? like SUFFOCATION!

heh the gas masks they sell in surplus stores arent going to help people for shit. just wasting their money.

The radiation only lasts a few hours so there should be enough air in the house to last you.
