ok, ok, i know this is weird ... and i HAVE searched to see if anyone else has had this problem (there are none that i've found).

i AM able to access this site thru home (dial up) but am UNABLE to access thru work (cable). which is really weird ... i am able to ping this site, but my IE6 comes up not able to connect.

my buds at work are having trouble accessing their forums at work as well (one guy accessed the hub external to the firewall and still no-go). my buds are able to access THEIR site thru the same cable provider at home. has anyone else experienced this???

it's really kinda frustrating. is there a mirror of this site that i can try maybe? (i've tried the www.ps2newz.net and 66.98.158.28 and www.ps2-scene-org.net all with no success).

    thoughts?

    thanks,
    kev

its actually just psx-scene.com yet i know of people having problems resolving the site. you can try adding :80 to see if that helps. usually does for most people.

Netscape isn't an ISP provider? I think? It's a web browser. And the problem maybe your work itself. Check with your Tech department. Chances are they've blocked some sites from the network.

<FreeFrag> Thats why I recommend Telstra ADSL.

LOL, yes I'm sure he wants to go ask the tech department to unblock a ps2 scene site so he can browse it while at work

Actually...the browser for all intents and purposes is dead. They stopped developing it. They are offering Internet access similar to AOL now. blah.

    anyway ... i tried "http://www.ps2newz.net:80" and no-go.

    i tried psx-scene.com and no-go (with variations).

i did a tracert www.ps2newz.net and it resolved down to
"(something).ev1.net" and then started timing out.

the ISP at work is SHAW.

i'd like to ask the tech guys at work, but me and the other guy that I mentioned that are having the problems ARE the tech guys.

    *sigh*
