Do you guys believe in aliens and/or UFO's? I'm one of those people that really really want to believe in them but there's always something in the back of my mind that says they're not real until I meet one.

Recently there was a video on YouTube, that caught my attention:

I should also say that the video has appeared on other sites like Youtube but none that are credible like news sites.

The setup is that the video was taken in Nanjing, China. The video seems so real and authentic even if non-believers call it a CGI fake.

I would like to believe, because if you look at einsteins theorys... they are all right, if we could take gravity and bend it with some sort of device... just as the planets do we would be able to go into some sort of drive, thus we would be jetting accross faster then any thing could... but then again, he is right i know for a fact. but without that technology it would be IMPOSSABLE, as the nearest star out of our solar system is about 15 million light years (15 million years to get here... as we see stars as they were 15 million years ago, so if a star blew up today we wouldnt see it for another 15 million years.) and its not possiable to live that long. i just dont see it feasable at the moment... even if they are more advanced... That video suggests that they are bending gravity around them to Propell them away, just my probable guess.
I watched the video slow, and yea it makes sence in a way.

i used to be big into astronomy, just testing my class im guessing it takes between 8 - 11 mins for light from the sun to reach out planet ?, thats 94 million miles...

Yeah, I know all about the statistics and the feasibility even if we had nuclear fusion technology. I've taken an astronomy course and my major is Honours Biophysics; I'm currently an undergraduate.

Yeah, 8-9 minutes sounds right for the time for light to reach earth. The speed is 3*10^8 m/s and I can tell from your use of miles that you're american. Jeez, get with the SI units like the rest of the world.

lol..., metric is ok once and a while, our country tried to converrt, but its just to hard.., everything should juist be the same. but yea, metric is a hell of a lot easier to use as you dont need to worry about halves.. and such, just movin by tens. but doesnt .375 look better as 3/8 ;D ? Now just guessing... im sure 95% of the people here are older than me lol. as i am in the last years of HS. Seems youre being judgemental with the units we use... but your correct.

I highly doubt nuculear fusion will come anytime soon, its just to instable at the moment. and if anything, the amount of energy given from that is great, even from splitting the atoms. My state currently is thingin about replaceing the Nuclear power plants, as they are gettin old, Im sure the lifespan of the most plants are what, 40 years?

Yea I, my sister, and cousin saw a UFO back when I was only 11 on Halloween night. Saying it was on Halloween night kinda kills the whole believability of it, but it was very real to me. I once found a picture on the net similar to what it looked like (different colors around all sides) but I can't find it now. It was huge, hovered above us without any sound, didn't know it was there until my sister or cousin pointed it out. That experience changed my life and also changed my perception on reality and the universe. Life felt different after that experience. I also had so many nightmares about it afterwards. It was all because I couldn't stop thinking about the aliens, what they look like, how they could come and take me away at anytime (crazy I know). Had hard times sleeping and even taking a shower alone after that...

From what you guys are saying I would assume that time could also be bent if these ships could jump through some kind of gateway similar to a black hole. I?d say there are other forces other then gravity they could manipulate. I think it could also be possible they cloak themselves by possibly bending light around their ships to make their ships invisible. I think anything is possibly really, we just haven't found a way to do it yet.

Time travel is totally real, we just dont know how it works, einstein knew what he was talkin about. Interesting, Black Holes would cruch mount everest about the size of a marble, (one heavy ass marble a few mtons...tons...w/e units you want to use lol). But yea... it would be hell if two black holes were to collide, from my understandings a "Giant Sun" that expires is a black hole, after the dwarf stage. (i cant remember if its like super giant sun or w.e) Gravity can effect everything, time...light...mass. i probably sound like a complete retard at times, but if they are so advanced, why visit our planet..

I have seen many things myself when i was young, living on a farm.. some freaky shit living in wisconsin. where i live there are tons of sightings. well used to be. there was this neat website, www.ufowisconsin.com just check this out...Here, My city is first on the list... Very messed up stuff sometiems.

You're referring to wormholes and even in the realm of sci-fiction that's kind of cuck-koo.

The statistics are in favour of aliens. There are so many planets and stars that there has to been life. And there has to be a civilization more advanced that hasn't experienced setbacks like war and has placed their energy into scientific advancement.

And I wouldn't be worried about aliens taken you, ps2dragon. For aliens to have that technology they would have to be peaceful and not have experienced setbacks like wars and competition. i.e. Look at us. So, in other words we don't have anything they want. The might want to study 1 or 2 humans out of curiousity like we studied ants as kids but that's all.

I want to meet aliens so that humanity can be humbled. Look how advanced they are compared to us because we spend some much effort on war. And it would certainly shut up the religious

When i seen that type of stuff, it scares me, especially just outside. because i know there has to be some sort of "Primitive " side to them, unless they are some sort of ultamate being. but i agree, im sure they wouldnt attack us or anthing. But maybe we have somthin they dont, like some sort of resistance, or gene that they are missing.. that they cant construct on they;re own. We could probably learn from eachother haha. but to share technology would be nice.

I was goin to say the bit about worm holes... but i was thinkin that was some "Loop" type of thing, like a "Short Cut".

I have heard my advance bio teach (he has his masters and that other one i forget) he was talkin about the probibility of you finding your self in a nother dimension.. you could kill yourself by goin back in time, but it wouldnt kill you.. because your in a different dimension.. he said it so technacally... it all made sence ill ahve him say it on a recorder soon. that makes sence as well... you could just made that person non existant.. and replaced by you, becaise it is impossiable to kill yourself from the future. How would you kill yourself... if you never existed? (im goin to bed now.)
