    im compressing in 640x480 with the divx pro movies codec. when i watch the video its going to slow and i tried different codecs. how do i fix this??

    im thinkin its my 633mhz cpu, what if i install linux or something and record using that? u guys think itl be better?

    Which DivX Codec is that? You mean DivX 5 Pro? Perhaps there are probs with the frame rates?

    yea but it cant be the framerate because iv tried several different codecs.

    All codecs do the same thing? Or only the DivX pro one? If only the DivX one stuffs up, perhaps you should try XVid.

    perhaps you didn't sync the audio and video together and that's causing the lag. Either that or your computer simply isn't powerful enough, but I swore a 633 was plenty.
