Last friday night I recieved a phone call from my 9 year old son (while i was at work) informing me that "we have been robbed".

i get home and find that they broken in thru the basement window ... and hence forth taken * a lot * of our stuff ... (ie. all of the wife's jewelery, wife's camera equipment, and all of *my* stuff).

    My stuff includes the following:
PSP stolen (with 3 MS pro duos) and one umd game *gone*
Ps2-39001 with network adapater and 120gb hd *gone*
Ps2-35001 with network adapater and 120gb hd *gone*
    xbox with 120gb hd *gone*
a binder of games for xbox and ps2 *gone*

hopefully the insurance will cover most of it.
    this totally sucks though.

i have to wonder if this is in retaliation to the subjects of my previous posts.

no prafrinity screamed loud and strong enough could express how i feel right now.

Wow that sucks... Hope you can catch the jackass. Oh and if your games were backups then the insurance might not cover it?

The worst part is when you find some local pawn shop selling off your stuff or if you happen to run into them on ebay or an FS/FT forum.

I do not condone this... but you could claim that s*** was stolen that you never actually owned. If you feel like commiting a (is it a felony, or just a misdemeanor) you might be able to get some free money.

Fraud is a pretty major felony; I think it's almost on par with involuntary manslaughter.

man, i know how you feel. My house has never been robbed (well, back in the day my parents got robbed (but i was not yet born :P)

I had a $4,000 car that got vandilized.. in the end i lost $6,000 on everything

It's that same "violated" feeling... like... what did i ever do to anyone? Why did this happen to me?

all I can really say is those ****ers will get what's coming to them, i promise

    sorry man

oh, and frauding the insurance company would be stealing, and as such you should realize that it's like when the people robbed your house, you're getting something that's not rightfully yours, in essense, you are then no better

    just my opinion
