Well I went against the better judgement of others here at Newz - and for less than a month checked out that other forum... owned by Z... owns... Thought it must have been just petty rivalry that prompted all the comments... I was wrong...

My god - it took only 20 days for our good friend Nick-sales (evo'mods) to pop up his ugly rip'n head and start attacking - next thing I know all my urls are censored there...

seems those two are tied together very closely...

What I can't believe is after 128 posts of pure helping I get treated like that cos some racist cloner (evo) with 27 posts of sales pitches only, has a problem with people from newz....

no wonder there is nobody there with the ability to help people - all those who know anything get pissed off and leave... or keep there heads in else they get stomped on...

That will teach me for trying to branch out onto more forums to provide assistance... waste of time when you get it thrown back in your face like that for obvious comercial reasons... they must be very "special" friends... guess Z must bend it for brown...

Took the initiative and banned myself... did not want to taint myself anymore than I unwittingly already had...

Three cheers for newz - you really do rule the roost - apart from a few silly fights now and then - newz still comes off so much better.

speaking of how retarded those guys can get, did i ever mention how zima got fired from being a mod at isonews? i'm not gonna explain why it is i know this(plenty of reasons), but it's a cute story.

for some strange reason, the owners of the isonews website(easybuy2000 purchased the rights for being the sole advertiser in an agreement that they would provide the actual servers and upper-end management) decided to enter a partnetship with zima and ******* in a deal to get some cheap fliptops to sell on easybuys website. in exchange, zima(under a different name, i wish i could remember what it was he used, but it's 6:30am and im getting tired) would moderate the ps2 forum.

well that's all fine and dandy, but the first thing he did was proceed to delete about 2,000 threads, MANUALLY, simply because someone may have "bashed him or his site". at the time he was hiding the fact the he actually was zima from the other moderators and the forum members, however after that, it became obvious. threads 3 pages long about say... how to patch games from pal to ntsc, were deleted because a forum member may have made a comment proclaiming that fliptop mods suck. if any forum members actually bothered to say that zima or his site sucked, zima actually tried to convince the website admin(mandarin) to have them banned. he was so anal retentive about it that he complained about threads over a YEAR OLD.

anyway, after having purged a ridiculous number of posts for no reason, his moderator account was then disabled until further notice for his behavior. after kissing the ass of the owner of easybuy, mandarin was told to re-enable his account as a moderator. within 2 weeks he was back to calling users retards, idiots, and even threatening to complain to easybuy and have other moderators banned from the website. easybuy eventually got sick of his crap after mandarin had a talk with them, and zima was promptly canned with any chance of a deal flushed right down the drain.

THAT is how ****ing retarded those idiots can get. there's plenty more too btw.

(incase someone is still wondering, the reason i wont say why i know this(who i am), is due to not wanting to be associated with that retarded crap known as isonews anymore due to a bunch of other bullshit)

I was in the PS2 Ownz team until about 3 days ago when I realised that it was a waste of time over there... I have friendships still with the guys there and I have nothing against the majority of them except the Admin who was a complete ass to me and also censored the name of my website from his forums....

******* has hit a sharp decline in quality in the past few weeks and the IRC Channel turned into a Ban-fest before I left... PS2 Ownz isn't as stable as it was after Tahc3on/Z/Septiego got rid of ALL the moderators and decided to start afresh in 2004... If he ends up going through with that PS2 Ownz may not be quite the rival that it has been...

I was never a strong Newz hater when i was there... Ownz was pretty much all i knew as it was where i started out so i heard all the arguments and the name calling and dirty shit Tach pulled... During those times I actually posted here about how i thought this was all senseless.... I still don't believe in this scene war to be honest but I don't like Tach and I've stopped visiting Ownz now...

I am hoping to be accepted here and I haven't received any bad messages from anyone.. yet , and i've been invited to join Backup-Source which i understand is a Newz affiliate... So I think i'm on the right track away from my days at Ownz and I still have my own site and other endeavours that i will continue to work on that are Ownz-Free...

ENT - I had no gripe with any forum till now... gave them all the benefit of the doubt...

Problem is - that according to the Admin - they only banned my urls - due to them being a commercial link - even though I was only posting my laser repair page and my general tips page...

He suggested that one now has to pay for the priveledge to post one's URLs else they get censored - bit of a money grab that one... but fair enough as long as it is universally applied - which it is not!

Also, that is not listed in their rules anywhere - and only happened after evo started picking a fight with no provocation on that forum at all.

One would have thought that the help provided and the interest generated by my threads would have paid for my urls by itself - started one thread that had 2000 views in less than 20 days - and it was not even a sticky.

The one thing about it unless their is more appz or the hdd gets cracked so you can play your backupz on it. The ps2 scene just is not going to be as big as the xbox scene and i do not mean the site ether i really like ps2news better less bullshit and you can speak your peace here.
