I'm looking at moving my plan off of Cingular because their billing SUCKS, they have screwed up my billing three times in a row! Anybody have any experiences, good or bad, with these companies? I listed only these because they all provide GSM service and I have a Sony Ericsson T226 phone. Anyone know if I unlock it, can I bring it to ATT or T-Mobile even though they don't sell it? Thanks!

I myself have Cingular and the same very phone that you do. Not all to impressed with the service, but Im not all to impressed with ATT either. Lots of times T Mobile and Cingular use the same physical cells, so service difference probably wouldnt be much different. Really it all changes from area to area, probably want to ask around town what people have and how they like it.

  3. #3 I have t-mobile

I had t-mobile for 18 months. I have 800 combined anytime minutes unlimited weekends and unlimited t-mobile to t-mobile min. I have the family plan $69.00 for two phones and $10.00 for third. My monthly bill totals around $94.00 the ony problem is my daughter using the messager .05. My bill is displayed by phone number and never had overage. My daughters freinds all got t-mobile now and she ranges 1700 min a month free t-mobile to tmobile min. I get my money worth on the 3 phones. No roaming or long distance charges what so ever. Try that at att.

My g/f has T-Mobile, so far she is very impressed, I am thinking about moving my T226 eventually to their network. They will take an unlocked T226 correct?

G/f's got the X105 from Samsung and it kicks ace. I doubt I'm gonna switch phones, if I did I'd get the Sony Ericsson T610, but I plan on unlocking my T226 phone and bringing it over to T-Mobile and buying the camera attachment for it, so that should make me pretty happy.

My wife had a 3650. That phone rocks! Along with a Sony UX-50, she could surf the net, check for orders and do almost anything. She then wanted to consolidate devices and got an unlocked Treo 600 that combines it all into 1 device. Trying to sell the UX-50, and gave away the phone.

All we did was pop the sim card from the 3650 into the unlocked Treo 600 and away we go!

Cingular can suck my left nut. I have them now, switched from Verizon because I was told I could keep my number. Anyway, couldn't keep my number because the Cingular salesmen/managers/cust. service reps are ****ing idiots and when I finally made a deal with the manager and signed up with them and got a new number the deal didn't appear on my first bill. It's an ongoing battle. My advice is to go to the Cingular store and spit on each of the salespeople and then kick the manager in the balls. Not a day goes by when I don't daydream about doing it. Hope this helps!

Yeah I'll agree that their customer service is the WORST of any provider. When you go to the store, you wait over 30 minutes just to ask a god damned question. Besides that, half the time the bill is wrong, making you have to go up there and wait again. Then when you try to call their hotline, same thing, waiting for 30 minutes sometimes. GRRR!!

As for the 3650, I think its just too big for my taste. I have a T226 phone, and I love that its so small to fit in my pocket easily. I would much rather have the new Nokia 3200, which has the new 3G GPRS and XHTML browser, or especially the Sony Ericsson T610 with the integrated camera and Java Games and also small size.
