Seriously it does
On stuff like WUPLOAD The max I get is 186kbs
On a torrent if there is a decent amount of seeds I get around 200-500 kbs
I just did a test on my internet speed and it is for download speed 4.85mbps and upload speed is 0.43mbps
dont get me wrong my internet is good and all but downloading stuff over 20gb+ (well you guys see the point) will be a hassle
So can someone please give me some good internet providers right now I have Bellsouth/ATT Internet
Do anyone have Comcast?
How long does it take you to download something like for example (WUPLOAD) or anything else....
Or A torrent
Thanks in advance
Also how much do you pay a month ?

everyone gets those speeds on wupload unless they have premium accounts. It's not your internet provider why you're getting slow download speeds on torrents. Torrent speeds depend on a number of things incuding the max upload speed of the seeders which you have no control over, whether or not you're behind a firewall and if you're using a router, you need to set up port forwarding and change the max number of half open connections for your tcpip.sys. Here's info on your tcpip.sys. SpeedGuide.net :: Windows XP SP2 tcpip.sys connection limit patch there's an auto patcher on there. It will probably read as a trojan virus because it modifies the tcpip.sys, but it's safe. Set your max half open connections to 50 and reboot. Port forwarding is done different ways for different routers but there are many guides how to do it. Here's an index for different routers that will help guide you on that. If you want to increase your download speeds for wupload and many other hosts without going premium install FreeRapid Downloader from here FreeRapid Downloader - Homepage and set it up to use a proxy list. You can use your default connection plus 9 proxies so you can download more that 1 file at a time from the same host. Look here for a proxy list Free Proxy List Provider and look here for a proxy checker Online proxy checker: online check HTTP and SOCKS proxy lists. Free SOCKS proxies, free HTTP proxies lists. . You need to run the proxy list through the checker to filter out the dead proxies.
Normally I would offer more help, but you've got a ton of reading to do and beside that we all know what your 20gb+ files are

Thanks for the reply! Idk its just I hear some people say on here that they can download 20gb in an hour and im like 0_0
So free rapid can get me more download speed?
And yeah torrents are really so so
and about the 20gb files... I never downloaded any of them (yet) and I might not... I recently shelled out around 80 bucks on Uncharted Dual Pack/ Killzone 3 and LA NOIRE honestly I might even go through all the trouble getting those games.
BTW The darkness 2 is really cool but I never played the darkness 1 though.
Also Usually on stuff like fileserve/megaupload I just buy the premium account then go sleep then the game be finished. Lately I haven't seen any reliable file clients to go to since I usually pay for the membership but honestly downloading 20gb+ is just too much out of my range and I rather just simply buy whatever game it is to save me the problem
