Yes, I have friends who graduated from my high school, who are, as of now, deployed in the gulf. Some casualties have been reported, but I am grateful everyday for the men and women of our armed forces who risk their lives everyday for us when few other countries have the balls to take care of their business.

My brother is deployed. He is an NBC in the United States Marine Corps 4th Light Armored Reconisance Division.

Whether you are for the war or against it, all I ask is you give respect and support for those who have the fight in it, the troops. It is a dirty job that they have to do and all you have to do is watch. If you wish to provide supporting evidence on why the US is making the wrong decision, President Bush is a war-monger, or 'what - have - you' then please start a new thread and leave this one to those who wish to voice their support for the troops. well.. im not a communist nore against the US .. believe me when i tell you that im very found of your whole culture over there.. This is the root cause for the reason many African countries have massive amounts of Genocide and Civil War. They have no unity because of the lines drawn by Europeans. Europeans came in with not the idea of settlement, building, and advancement, but with the intensions of using the native people to use to work slavishly to harvest riches to bring back to Europe. They raped the land and people to gain for themselves. The sad thing is, this has still not ended. Mainly the company Da Beers, the worlds largest Diamond Monopoly. It funds gueilla groups and militias with funds and weapons to take over mining land for daimonds. The groups go town to town killing men, cutting limbs of children off so that they cannot fight later on. They take the land to sell to Da Beers to mine the daimons. Europe has made its way by taking advantage of the people of other places in the world. Spain and Portugal did this in South and North America. only comming with the sole intention of bringing riches back to Europe. This is why Many South American, and Mexican GOvt is so corrupt. The Mexican Govt and Elite who rule the Oil and Other resource companies are DIRECT descendants of the spanish govenors and dons. They have no indian blood to them, unlike the people the govern. They have the same exact intensions as the Spanish did hundreds of years ago, but instead they just bring the riches back to them Selves.

France started the Vietnam war after they tried to re take their old colony and fight off communists after the United States LIBERATED Vietnam from Japanese occupation in World War 2.
