Super mario the sunshine

The director of Super Mario Land 3D, Yoshiko Koizumi stated that he would love to see possible remake of Super Mario Sunshine, but in 3D. He also added that he is interested on bringing the Galaxy games to the 3DS too. Fans of Super Mario would love to see this happen, it don't think it would matter too much since they already have Super Mario Land 3D coming out in November of this year. Anyways, here are the exact words that Yoshiko had to say...

I really like Super Mario Sunshine. Sure it wasn't as revolutionary as it's predecessor, but it was a good game. I've never understood why it got so much bad press.

I loved Super Mario Sunshine too. Although, I'd wish they re-do the original Mario Trilogy for the NES in 3D for the 3DS. Super Mario 3 was my absolute favorite.
