Subwoofer Not Working???

Just bought the sony sa-ve335 sourround speakers. everything works fine but the subwoofer. im not sure if its not working or if im doing something wrong. i have the subwooer hooked up to the back of the receiver. when i pres power nuthing happens, the light doesnt even come on. this subwoofer has that auto on/off feature if its any help.. and i also tried pluggin it directly into the outlet.

hmmmmm, sounds like you got a bad woofer, make sure their is no switch on it

otherwise I would turn up the bass all the way and see if you hear anything

Well he said that it doesnt even get power, so maybe theres a short in the cord or something is wrong with the power supply.

If that is the case then return it, no point in you trying to fix it when your an exchange away from a working system

bought it from ebay, brand new.... i think i got warranty, gota check.

got it working!! opened it up and a cable was unplugged.

it isn't by any chance the altec lansing 200w system? 2.1 -_- that thing is sweet
