This conflict, as well as several other conflicts of the past, has been a war of the wills. You have the will of parts of the Western world, the will of the fanatical insurgents, and in the middle you have the will of the Iraqi people.
For the most part, the Western world is incredibly divided over this conflict; if you look at the polls (no matter how flawed they obviously are) this country is evenly divided when it comes to Iraq. While we can argue about the insurgents' real sentiments, we can be sure that they are dedicated to their goal. With them, you're trying to kill an ideaology, not a leader or a headquarters. Then there's the semi-apathetic Iraqi public; if you ask me, they just want to continue with their lives. It doesn't matter if an Iraqi is in charge or if it's an American, as long as they can do business and live their lives, I'm sure they'll be happy.
As for the guy who thinks the solution to society's ills is to get rid of people of color and culture; welcome to Nazi Germany, 1919 - 1946. What you believe is the basest negativity of the human race, ignoring what makes people unique and what makes us all individuals. The "different" people won't bother you anymore, but I hope you have fun with the secret police; I'm sure they'll be on your side.![]()
Its funny how in that video it only shows the american soldier getting shot, but they say how the american soldier fought back and arrested the guy and gave him medical treatment but that was not shown...
Its a publicity war, so dont believe everything you read.
