Slowing down.......

Hey everyone,

I have always lived by the following words in my own head!

''Its better to live your life to its fullest and die 1 year younger, than to never live at all''

This is my OWN saying (words) and not heard from anyone else.

It basically means that, if you are too die at the age off 75,
then its better to live your life, go partying and really enjoy life and if that
means you take 1 year from your life and you die at the age of 74 then so be it. This is what i live by and may not be your own thoughts!
So dont attack me on this!

Theres no secret to my partying, i party almost EVERY weekend and really
enjoy doing this, but a few weeks ago i was parting very hard, and really
suffered a bad hangover/come down.

Im basically thinking about Slowing Down a bit and maybe staying off the drugs for a while,
and just stick to drinking alcohol.

Over the past few weeks i have been noticing im getting kinda a dumber LOL,
meaning that i forgeting a few stupid things! It only happens for 1 day after
a weekend of partying then everything is back to normal.

I have noticed it happened today aswell, i have been drinking alot off alcohol,
and taking alot off Speed and Ecstacy pills this weekend.
Also the fact that the pills are £1.50 ($2.50usd) each and the speed is very cheap also,
does not help things here.

This has happened before and i went off drugs for 3 months.
That was about 2 years ago, and it never happened again until recently.

What does everyone think on this?

And please no flaming or saying just stay of the drugs completely cause it aint going to happen.
Also please dont say not to drink alcohol also, cause that REALLY aint going to happen!

Well, I have no first-hand experience with E or speed, but I know that I found mixing LSD and alcohol fairly problematic. These experiences vary from person to person obviously, but one suggestion is that if you're going to do E, try to at least go easy of the alcohol, if not abstain from it that night. I'm not really the kind of guy who yells to everyone "stop doing drugs" but I just can't see E and alcohol getting along well... ?

Drinking a ton isn't super for you anyway... I don't know how much you're drinking, but again, even cutting back can do you good (like, 6 or 7 beer as oppsed to 10? haha. Well, I don't know what you drink like, but y'know what I mean).

And if you stopped doing drugs for awhile and this went away, perhaps you just need to lay off them again for awhile. One can party for a long time, but eventually one will have to sleep, y'know? Taking a break can be good for your system, no matter what it is really.

Hey,

On a normal night i would drink 12 440ml cans off beer.

Kinda bigger than the cans off bud etc i have seen in america.

I believe the cans there in the U.S are the same size as soda cans.

But if i am partying and taking E, i cant/Dont sleep, so i would probably drink around
the 24 can mark.

Now im not saying i drink that much to look like a big man, im just stating what I
drink and how much.

I've got some good experience with E/Alcohol/etc, and the numbers you're throwing around are really high. 24 cans in a night?? I'm not getting down on you, but that is a lot. You could have some health problems, problems with your liver etc. If I were you, I'd slow down a bit, but it's not up to me. I used to party a lot in college but as I got older I slowed down quite a bit too.
It's up to you, you want to slow down, slow down. From the sounds of it, you're experiencing some detrimental effects, and it's not the first time.

The 24 cans would be drunk because i cant sleep from the E and i will start
drinking at about 8pm on a friday night, and finish at about 8am the next morning!

Interesting saying, I have one for you. All things in moderation my friend. Theres nothing wrong with partying but maybe its not a good idea to do it all the time. Enjoy life, live it to the fullest..but like I told my friend Karen, living life to the fullest doesn't mean always putting yourself into potentially harmful situations. Maybe limit yourself to 1 or 2 weekends a month of major partying, and other ones just have a few drinks. This past summer I've gone out and gotten totally hammered, and then some nights just one or two drinks with a friend to relax and bullshit for a bit, gotta change it up now and then.

Don't worry, I know you're not trying to just sound cool when you say that much beer.

But yeah, that is quite a high number. My advice to anyone doing that would be to tone it down. I know people might not sleep on E but maybe you could take the E a little earlier, or just realize that you may have to catch up on some sleep. As I said, I wouldn't say "Stop drugs" but I think binge drinking +10ish beers is not something to be done too often, and something like 24 is pretty dangerous. I'd either curb the alcohol to at least half of what you're having or go easy on the E for awhile.
