selling premod ps2.. contacted by buyer in UK.. what to do

i was sent this email, and im not sure what to think. is it illegal for me to sell one modded ps2 to the UK? i emailed him back a huge 3 page email trying to cover my ass, saying thati will require faxed signatures back and forth, and that the buyer must be in Italy, and that the check cannot come from anyone in the UK, or from a UK bank. here is the email he sent me

after consulting a friend, i have decided not to sell the ps2 and destroy it. thanks for your interest, i wish you luck in finding a modded console

edit: and this website informed me of the recent court case involving the UK. i would be lost if it wasn't for ps2newz!

if anyone wishes to reply to my post with legalities of this, im sure it would help others

ONLY EVER DEAL WITH KNOWN PEOPLE FROM THE UK.

And even then tread with caution, and watch as sony might have already
busted that seller and is getting him/her to catch more people!

But I thought Sony was only interested in stopping the sellers. Once they shut them down that's fine. The end-user or just a person (not another reseller) is not who Sony is after, so I doubt they'd try that one.

Yeah, no one would pay 250 for a v4 w/ Messiah. That's insane. Heck, 9HOMERSIMPSON9 has brand new Infinity premods for less.

thats not a narc , i have seen those emails a ton of times . its some1 with stolen or counterfeit cashiers checks thats trying to rip people off and possably use your personal info for other bad stuff .
