I believe there is a bit of money in the scene. I wish the scene was all about free, but modchips cost money. I'm glad there are vendors here who are willing to sell their products (for cheaper than modchip.ca or former gamegizmo or krawl's outrageous prices at fastmodz, probably pays for his stupid flash intro, lol) on here and make a quick buck than have no sellers at all and rely solely on overpriced canadian websites for sales. I think its cool that charlie_ps2, even as a vendor and person interested in his own financial gain is also willing to help others. He helped me obtain installation diagrams and things at ps2modchips.com when no one else would, so in my eyes, Charlie, you are still a great wealth of knowledge, regardless of people who decide to try and tarnish your name over stupid things such as account hacking and Messiah 2 team relations.

As for Ownz being money hungry freaks, I agree. I think their flip top horribly distorts their tech support stance. I only post on the Off-Topic board there because the other forums are a lot of times false, and it makes me sad. BUT, that said, I don't think it is impossible to establish at least semi-good relations with the people at Ownz, no matter how bitter the admins are currently. I'm sure if they managed to get my personal info and try and hurt my family and I'm willing to forgive and forget about them, that most can also. I agree with Gazza's post a lot, the scene has lost direction to me, and even though I don't always agree with Ownz, I think working together or at least healing some of the bad tensions is the best way to gain that direction back.

This is the sissy stupid crap I'm talking about. Removal of trusted and longtime friends as moderators by admins. I dunno about you but this sickens me horribly. Snipa is one of my longtime peeps, and bullshit like this pisses me off. He has done NOTHING but help the scene at little or no profit to him. So his removal as a mod is senseless and retarded, and I hope a sensible admin will please re-instate all those who have been downgraded lately. Enough backlash against our own members.

Its a shame such a good alliance of leaders is going down the shithole fast. But, as has always been, I love ps2newz and the people who support it, and I have no intentions of going anywhere. Not that my presence is going to do shit for the scene, but to hell with it. This whole mess is just completely retarded. The WHOLE entire "Scene" is just about ps2...hacking it/ piracy/ etc. I don't really understand why people couldn't work together to begin with in that regard...As far as Competing with eachother that's Understandable.

And Ownz working with Newz ...Dude, i'm a decent guy who will forgive people for acting like idiots, but I wouldn't forgive/ work with Z...If it wasn't for Z, and a few other people at Ownz (mostly pointing my finger to OLD Ownz members/ admins) then Ownz would be alright.

I'm tired of people saying "I wish ownz and newz could work together..." That's impossible.

I really don't giva shit about the scene anyways...Just come on here to chat about ps2 and other stuff, but it's not a big deal to me.
