    Man i really hate racism,

I see this shit everyday from my coach and the worse was yesterday.

He was talking about the other team that was coming for a game at our court and he was expalining who was on the team. He tell abotu all the good players and then says that two new tall black kids just transfered from Jersey City. He then said the most racist thing ever. He says, "The two black kids did not go in until the second quater, I assume for disinplinary reasons." WTF not all black people get in trouble and he might have just transfered and not have enough practices......

yeah it seems like it will never stop. your coach aint the only one who feels blacks are trouble though. you should see where i live. i bought a house 6 years ago in a dominantly white neighborhood. now here it is i am working on the house and had alot of stuff set out for garabe. when the gardagemen came they left the rug that i had tookrn up in one of the rooms. they didnt leave a note as of why they left it, so i thought i had to call for big balk. well they told me they had to be in lengths of 2 feet, so cool i go out side to cut them up. lord in behold the white neighbor from across the street came over with no shoes on while i was cutting up the rug. tells me "i hope you you take care of this because i dont want you bringing critters into my neighborhood." i was so mad i was going to cuss her out but i didnt i just replied "well if there is no critters here before i came to this area i believe one just walk out of the house." she was so pissed she went back home.

There's a lot of racism in this world. Canada's supposed to be a cultural mosaic but there's a lot of racism here too - it just isn't as open. I've encountered racism many times considering I'm a coloured person in a predominately white area.

canada is alot better than buffalo area is. at least toronto as i seen had everyone no matter what race mingling around especially at the eden center. and your girls in canada are hhhhhhoooooottttttt. buffalo is so divided it makes no sense. blacks live for the most part in the east side. whites in the suburbs and north buffalo, hispanics on the west side. if you were to ask anyone what stores are in the other persons neighborhood they would not know. and they call buffalo the city of brotherly love yeah right thats a joke.

The term African American is racist I think. All the black people in this country came here before 1820 and the first ones came in the 1500s. My family came here in 1922. I consider myself 100% American, so why is not a black person just an American, an American who happens to have black skin. Call yourself "African-American" if you were born in Nigeria and came here 5 years ago, other wise, youre American.

Also, not everything to do with Race is "racism". Blacks do indeed do poorly in school. Some may blame "white oppression", while ofcourse blacks must face some adversity because of racism, they must help themselves aswell. 75% of black children will grow up without a father. The men leave the women with a child, so she is forced to raise it by herself. She has to work real hard, get multiple jobs, just to make it. She tries all she can to support her family, but since she cant be home enought to make sure her child is on the right track, the kid gets mixed up in bad things, doesnt pay attention in school, and then perpetuates what you may call a "stereo type".

You can blame white people all you want, but in the end, the only people who can fix black society are black MEN. They need to take responsability and not leave the black WOMEN. Black women are the most under rated people in this society, they are the backbone of black people. You have assholes on MTV making it cool to look down upon women, and treat them like shit, making it cool to be a pimp and to **** "whoes". I listen to hiphop, the good stuff with a message doesnt get played, but what gets played with the stuff that is horrible . And the victims are all black.

Where most people think there is racism, there is not. Where most people think there is no racism, there is. You go to the same schools as I do, you get the same books as I do, so you have the same opportunity to strive to acheive as I do. Whether you try to or not is your choice. I do see why if you are a black man, and you try all you can, as many of you do, that you get grouped up with others by stereo types of laziness and apathy towards education and the law, but remember, its blacks perpetuating it, even if its not you.

I also hate the idea that whites are somehow more racist than others. I live in a mostly mexican area. Its amazing to me how openly people talk about how much they hate blacks, asians, arabs. And they are very vocal about it. Minorities assume that since companies, governtment possitions, and other high up parts of society are dominated by whites, that whites are supressing blacks from getting there too. Thats not the case, its a class difference. Do you think my white-trash ass has any more chance of becoming a senator or a CEO than your black ass? Fat chance. Its rich vs poor, not white vs black.

Racism that you face from whites or anyone else is wrong, but just cause it is wrong doesnt mean that all your problems stem from it, and it doesnt mean that your community shouldnt try to help itself. If you feel like white society has locked you out, what you should do is prove them wrong, not prove them right.

I'm not black and I never claimed to be. My bloodline is actually Indian but I'm a Canadian above all else.

Im african american/middle eastern.. and most of my heritage is from Iraq. you can imagine that i know of racism.

Rascism just gets old after a while and dosent affect me anymore. It just shows me how ignorant poeple are.

My favorite is when i hear people call iraqi's "****ers" or like "good thing we killed them before they got us".. i can do nothing but laugh..
