thankfully this thread isnt for me.. its for my mom. she's been smoking since she was like 14 years old, and she is 40 sum now, like 2 packs a day i think.. she has a very addictive personality (drinks at least 3 cups of coffee a day or feals horrible and gets headaches) and suffers from depression (i have it to, its a genetic thing..) this seems god damn impossible she is most probibally hooked for life and has really bad health from it. more than anything, she wants me to suceed. i will tell her that from now on i'll do all my hw and do good in school and shit and hav my room clean all the time (i am a very lazy slob and ****ed up my senior year in hs) and be nicer to my brother and whatever.. so thats one thing i am going to do, but i also have to make it easier for her to quit.. so what should she do, any suggestions? step down one cig every day? one cig less every other day? every week? know any products? a self reward system? something else to grab onto while she is quiting cigs, and then break off of that??? i also heard of a shot that would help users stop smoking, buy eliminating the "oh yeah..." fealing after taking a much needed smoke. or that plant found in deserts used by indians to completely quit substances easily.. even smoking weed if that would help calm her nerves and feal easy (she would never do drugs besides cigs, and im on probation... so dont want to go their!), but if so would that help??? or any other mind altering substance that would give her the good fealing (like when you are finally able to scratch that itch). altho this seems hopeless i want her to try everything and do anything it takes.. and it would save us a lot of money! please help!
