I know the PS3 Slim isn't backwards compatible. I was just wondering since the OtherOS function has been able to be re-enabled, can the backwards compatibility be re-enabled as well? Is it hardware issue or is it just software? Thoughts?

the Hardware is not there any more it cant be re-enabled because its gone

it would be nice to see OtherOS > VirtualBox > PCXS2 Emulator > Ps2 game plays on ps3 slim
