I was just wondering your guys' choice to use V-Bulletin over phpBB. Each have their strengths, just wondering what made you guys choose this over phpBB

In my opinion, better support and ongoing product updates. Otherwise I'll let Guichi speak to the pros and cons...

IMO phpBB is the only way to go, I have modified nearly every board out there that you have to (or supposed) to pay for and many free ones. phpBB is the best IMO but vB looks the best out of all the boards around.

You should get invisionboard from http://www.invisionboard.com. I recommend the vbulletin mover that can move everything from this board. That's why you should get invisionboard.

A board I run for a local high school runs on phpBB, its nice, fairly easy to mod, and I have a cheap portal running on it, although not as advanced as the VB portals around. phpBB is faster, VB has more support. phpBB is free, VB costs (unless you pirate it, not a smart idea if they bust you). So each has their pros and cons I guess, just wondering what you guys thought of each.
