I recently re-installed Prassi PrimoDVD onto my new computer...it claims that it can't find a compatible burner...
Any other good ways of burning .gi files or fixing PrimoDVD that anybody knows of???

I don't think there are any. You can convert the .gi file to an iso or something with WinISO or similar program though.

Prassi Primo is neither a free program anyway. To convert a .gi file, especially the multi .gi files you better use Isobuster, as this is the only one that handles these files correctly. And if you use Recordnow, you probably need the latest PXenginie to recognise your burner.

Yes the new Decrypter version can write multiple .gi files correctly. So do not worry. (tested about 20 disks) Recordnow or Prassi can be useful in some cases, they are the most stable burning softwares, though Decrypter is free, so there are choices...
